Dear Parents,
We have been receiving some Kiwifruit in the basket of late. Please be aware of the signs throughout the centre, and at the sign-in counter that Kiwifruit is not permitted on the premises due to an increasing number of children with severe allergies that attend Green Gables. We are allergy aware, and adopt a zero tolerance approach to the children's well-being. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Dear Parents,
We have received some calls recently from Parents concerned that they have not been receiving our Daily Dairy emails. Our staff email out to all families every day to ensure that you are receiving timely communication about the goings on at Green Gables, and the activities of your children. If you are not receiving these emails, please let us know so we can confirm your email address. It is also a good idea to check your Spam/Junk folder as emails with multiple recipients can sometimes end up there. Kind regards The Green Gables Team Dear Parents,
Today at our Australia's Biggest Morning Tea we raised $320 to support the work of the Cancer Council. Our sincere thanks to all the Parents, Grandparents, family & friends that attended for their generosity. Dear Parents,
We are thrilled to announce that Rockdale Council have approved our plans for renovation. Our plans were lodged during December 2011, and working closely with Council we were able to achieve a fantastic result. The completed plans will ensure that Green Gables maintains its homely and warm atmosphere, while allowing for some much needed space for 12 Infants (0<2yrs), additional Toddler & Pre-School facilities, another children's bathroom, new staff facilities & office, and heaps of storage. We will also be providing on site parking for staff and parents, and landscaping to the front yard. HELP NEEDED - The search is now underway in ernest to find the right builder to complete this project. Can you help? If you are a builder and would be interested in quoting, or can make any recommendations, we would be happy to provide a copy of plans for quotes. Please contact us to discuss. Kind regards Stew & Ari Leeder This year, Green Gables is getting involved in Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea to help raise funds for Cancer Council's vital research and support.

Thank you for the amazing feedback from some of you regarding our daily email of the day books for each classroom. We are hearing more and more that our day books are being sent on to friends and family interstate and overseas - providing a valuable link to distant family. If you are not yet receiving the Day Book for your child's class and would like to, just respond to this email and we will make sure you are added to the mailing list. Alternatively, if you no longer wish to receive the daily diary emails - just let us know. Many thanks The Green Gables Teachers. Have you ever heard about the Baby & Kids Market?
