Dear Parents,
We have been receiving some Kiwifruit in the basket of late. Please be aware of the signs throughout the centre, and at the sign-in counter that Kiwifruit is not permitted on the premises due to an increasing number of children with severe allergies that attend Green Gables. We are allergy aware, and adopt a zero tolerance approach to the children's well-being. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Attached to this post is the story of the Chin Poy family and their journey through the trials of allergies and anaphylaxis. Kimberley tells of their son Louis' various treatments, successes and failures and gives contact details of those professionals who provided much needed help.
The Green Gables team stand in awe of Kimberley and Caine and all the family - while the journey continues, we are so happy that Louis is now overcoming some of his allergies and look forward to working with you all over the years ahead.
