Hand foot and mouth disease

We have 2 reported cases and 1 suspected case of this highly infectious disease.  Please read the attached information so you can look out for the symptoms and keep your child at home if you feel it appropriate.

At Green Gables we are continuously protecting children from cross contamination by washing hands, washing toys, teaching the children about hygiene, discouraging the sharing of water bottles, sanitising eating utensils and more.

The more cautious we all are the better.  If children at Kindy present with symptoms their parents will be contacted to collect them ASAP for a visit to the doctor.
