To celebrate the cultural variety that is Australia we will be hosting morning tea from a different culture each day (more details below). The morning's curriculum will be inspired by the culture of the day so if you would like to be involved please email the classroom teachers.
18th-28th March - Chicken Hatching Program - children will observe chickens hatching from eggs and experience them with all senses. The preschoolers will also tend to the chickens needs in preparation for some remaining with us as Kindy pets.
28th March - Thursday - Easter Hat Morning Tea - make an Easter hat (bonnet) at home with your children and wear it to the morning tea. We are also hoping to have a special hopping visitor to deliver some yummy Easter treats. Children not usually attending on Thursdays are welcome to participate under adult supervision.
29th March & 1st April - CLOSED for the Easter long weekend
7th May - Tuesday - Mother's Day Morning Tea - a chance for mums and other significant ladies to come and be pampered by their children. Put this in your diary now. Children not usually attending on Tuesdays are more than welcome to attend under adult supervision.
Help your child get the most out of everything by talking about the experiences at home. Please send in in any interesting questions or comments they have so we can include them in our curriculum planning.
